From Our End of the Leash
Here we are, well into the Month of October. Please remember that October is National Breast Cancer Month. Petsathome® has teamed up with the CBCF to raise funds to help in the Fight to End Breast Cancer.
We are selling Prink Paw Print Lanyards and Pink Ribbon Carabineers (pictures are posted in the Pet Store Section). We also have Lanyards for Hockey Moms, Soccer Moms and Moms of the Equestrian World. They are the same format as the Paw Prints except with hockey sticks, soccer balls and horseshoes.
Pictures of the new line of Breast Cancer Lanyards will be posted shortly. They're gorgeous, you'll love them and they make great Christmas gifts for friends, family, colleagues and clients.
This is very, very cool news....
I am very pleased to announce that with the rave reviews that our Petsathome® Services are receiving, we are able to add to our Team, two new Extraordinary Dog Walkers and Pet Sitters. Welcome to Patti and Louella!
Patti, I have known for the past 10 years. We met when our Border Collies met while playing at a local park. Patti is great with the dogs and loves the interaction and activities during her walks with them.
Louella has been involved in Dog Walking and Pet Sitting in this area for a number of years. She is reliable, knowledgeable and has a passion for the love, care and safety our four legged family members!
I feel so fortunate to have these two 'Wonderful Women' joining our Petsathome® Team. We will be posting their pictures and bios by months end.
Continuing Education!!
Rally Obedience ...we're into week six with a 'test' course on Wednesday. Leaper will be fine...it's me who's going to have brain cramps! Last week we had 'flash card' night....yikes!! Rally was way easier when Jim was calling out the steps for the exercises. Guess I better spend the next two nights memorizing.. never close a figure eight, weave once means...weave once! and one of the hardest exercises... one step...sit, two steps...sit, three steps...sit!...okay so I have to keep my dog with me in heel on my left, make sure he's on a loose leash, keep my posture proper, watch my footwork, count, make sure Leap sits straight, count that I haven't added in an extra step (which I do on a regular basis)....so I think I'll practice all my footwork without Leaper...he'll be fine!!! Wish us luck! (Being a little on the competitive side...we have to beat Blake and Molly!) keep you posted!
